Construction Partnership, Inc. is a labor-management association
representing area construction industry contractors and union
members working together for you, the construction user,
in southern Minnesota.
Both labor and management members are your neighbors and
relatives skilled in construction crafts and able to tackle
the most challenging and difficult construction projects.
Benefits of Union Construction Today
Readily available workforce comprised of area residents
whose compensation includes basic health and welfare and
pension benefits.
Cooperation between contractors and workers in meeting the
timetable and budget of the construction user.
Well-trained, highly skilled, OSHA certified crafts men and
women working on your project.
Reduced workers compensation rates as the result of a safe
union work environment.
Quality work, including service after completion of the project,
provided by workers and contractors with long term loyalty
and dedication to the construction industry.
"Construction Partnership has provided the forum for
labor and management to discuss areas of common interests
and goals
as well as providing an opportunity to meet one on one with
all the business managers. Keeping a project running smoothly
involves everyone, both on and off site. Knowing the business
managers on a first name basis has helped resolve conflicts
before they affect the job site. As noted at a recent school
board meeting, the school district is pleased with the progress
and quality of the project."

Northrup School Renovation
This high skill level is due to years of formal apprenticeship
training and delivers a product of superior quality. This
expertise has been proven to be more efficient, which helps
deliver projects on time.
"No problems presented themselves on any of the Rochester
projects. In fact, there were hardly any hitches. The projects
were completed on time or ahead of schedule and on budget."
Steven Kvenvold
City Administrator
Rochester
"From the bid process, through groundbreaking, and
from our topping off ceremony in mid-December to the move
in February, all aspects of the SELCO (Southeastern Libraries
Cooperating) construction project were handled with the utmost
professionalism. As an added bonus, the project came in on
time, despite a tight construction schedule, and under budget.
As you walk the halls, the quality of the craftsmanship is
evident and after nearly a year of ownership, there haven't
been any post construction complications. As a first timer
to the world of library construction, I would certainly undertake
another project with the construction partners that were
involved in building the SELCO office."
Ann B. Hutton
Executive Director
SELCO
(Southeastern Libraries Cooperating)
Union-trained workers are the most efficient at their trade
and are also the safest workers because from day one they
are taught safe working habits. Safer workers mean lower
workers' compensation insurance, which lowers the cost to
the owner and keeps the project on budget.
"We have been extremely pleased during our relationship
with Construction Partnership. Our Northrup Building renovation
project was not only completed on time but the quality of
the work was spectacular."
Dr. Jack Noennig
Superintendent
Rochester Public Schools
As an owner, developer, or builder, you want quality work
for a competitive price. Contractors want increased market
share and profits, while union workers want secure jobs with
good benefits. At Construction Partnership, Inc. we work
with owners, contractors and union workers to form a partnership
so that each can achieve their objectives by working together
through a "Partnership Agreement."
These partnership agreements have been extremely successful
in surrounding areas because they bring the best players
to the table. In the Partnership Agreement, owners agree
to use union contractors and workers who maintain the highest
quality construction possible
"As a National Construction Manager, our firm works
with contractors and trades people all over the USA. I can
tell you that nowhere in this country have we experienced
a workforce capable of producing this level of quality workmanship
in a safe manner, day in and day out, until we came to Rochester".

V.P. of Operations
Centex Rodgers, Inc.
The union contractors and workers are committed to these
Partnership Agreements. That's why disputes on the job are
settled immediately and strikes can't happen due to the commitment
to this agreement.
Construction Partnership, Inc. and its members are committed
to the construction of high quality buildings that are completed
on time and within budget.
"
On behalf of the SEMNBCTC, I would like to thank Construction
Partnership for their commitment to the construction industry.
When groups of owners, developers, cities and counties come
together with general contractors and sub-contractors prior
to construction, projects come together seamlessly. The team
approach works. In this new century with costs, deadlines
and community issues so prevalent, the coming together of
all parties is essential." A JOB WELL DONE!
